Introduction
In this section of the website you can learn about Rova, the saxophone quartet, and/or Rova:Arts, the umbrella organization.
Rova is the band. They make the music, record the CDs, curate the concerts, and perform on all the tours organized for the saxophone quartet or for extended ensembles (such as Electric Ascension).
Rova:Arts is the not-for-profit umbrella organization that raises the money for larger projects, that produces the collaborative concerts taking place in San Francisco and the Bay Area, that organizes educational activities such as Improv:21, and that provides the band with personnel support through the Rova administration and through its volunteers and Board of Directors, who generously donate their time to the overall efforts.
